EarthPet Expands Across the Western Cape in Partnership with Compass Medical Waste Services

We are pleased to announce a major milestone in EarthPet’s mission to provide dignified, eco-friendly pet burials. EarthPet is now available throughout the Western Cape, thanks to our valuable new collaboration with Compass Medical Waste Services.

Previously limited to the greater Cape Town area, EarthPet can now serve pet owners across the province through Compass’s trusted and far-reaching logistics network. Compass will handle all administration and transport with their dedicated fleet for any animal remains, ensuring a smooth and professional process. This expansion allows us to bring our gentle, sustainable service to more pet owners, which is a goal we’ve been working toward for a long time. Please note: Horse collections are currently limited to the greater Cape Town area, including the Peninsula, surrounding suburbs, Northern Suburbs, and extending as far as Wellington, Franschhoek, and the Helderberg region. These are handled with our specialised vehicle. If you’re unsure whether your area is covered, please feel free to ask.

Veterinarian practices, welfare and rescue organisations across the Western Cape are now being signed on, giving pet owners the opportunity to request EarthPet’s Bio-Burial service directly through their vet, provided the practice is part of our network. In line with government legislation and to prevent the risk of spreading contagious diseases, we do not operate across provincial borders.
