Earthpet Now Delivers Ashes and Compost Returns Directly to your Home
At Earthpet, we know that losing a pet is an emotional time, and trips and logistics may be burdensome to you. That’s why we are adding to our compassionate service: home delivery of ashes (Return of Ashes – ROA service) and compost returns (Return of Compost – ROC service) across the Western Cape.
Clients no longer need to fetch returns from their veterinarian or from us directly. Instead, your pet’s ashes or compost can be delivered safely, securely, and respectfully to your home by reputable delivery companies, neatly packaged. This way, you can focus on healing while we take care of the details.
Offering Support for Veterinarians Also
This change also brings practical benefits to veterinarians:
- If a customer calls their veterinarian, the vet can now provide informed updates about expected delivery timelines by checking our app. Using our app, they can provide you with status updates when needed. All remains are securely tracked with barcodes, ensuring full transparency throughout the process.
- Returns no longer need to remain uncollected or waiting at veterinary practices, as Earthpet can ensure efficient, timely delivery.
- Veterinarians also receive an automatic message once a delivery has taken place, keeping everyone informed.
A More Sustainable Way Forward
With eco-friendly practices at the heart of what we do, this new delivery approach is another way we reduce our impact on the environment. Less trips needed to us or to your veterinarian for the collection. By partnering with established logistics companies, deliveries follow consolidated, economical routes instead of creating separate trips. This helps cut down unnecessary driving, lowers emissions, and supports our ongoing commitment to sustainable operations.

- All clients across the Western Cape who use Earthpet’s services directly.
- All clients who make use of Earthpet’s services through their veterinarian.
- Please note: this service currently does not apply to horses.
- Home delivery is now part of our standard mode of operation. Courier fee: R130 ex VAT per package.
